(a) the details of total amount released under the assistance
to Rural Youth and Sports Clubs during the last three years,
year-wise and State-wise;
(b) whether many proposals from various organisations are pending for clearance;
(c) if so, the reasons therefor; and
(d) the time by which these proposals are likely to be cleared ?

(a) The Scheme of Financial Assistance to Rural Youth &
Sports Clubs is implemented by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan on
an agency basis. Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports do not
release funds, State wise, under the scheme. Details of funds
released by NYKS during the three years, year-wise, State
wise, under the scheme are at Annexures I, II and III.
(b) to (d): Yes Sir, Some proposals received last year from
the NYKS could not be sanctioned due to paucity of funds.
These proposals along with some received during the current
financial year are being processed for sanction during the
current financial year.
