(a) whether the Government has implemented various Centrally funded schemes for the development of rural and urban areas of the country during the last three years and the current year;

(b) if so, the details thereof; and

(c) the funds allocated and spent therefrom forimplementing these schemes during the said period?

(a)to (c): Yes Sir,a large number of schemes have been funded by the Central Government for the development of rural and urban areas during the last three years and the current year.Scheme wise details are already available in the printed documents of Outcome & Performance Budget of the respective Ministries. The details of Major programmes for Rural Development i.e. Bharat Nirman (comprising 6 components namely Rural Water Supply, Rural Sanitation Programme, Rural Housing/ Indira Awas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana,Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Vidyutikaran Yojana and Rural Telephony) and Urban development ie Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission [comprising of 4 components namely Urban infrastructure & Governance (UIG),Basic Services for Urban Poor (BSUP), Urban Infrastructure Development Scheme in Small and Medium Towns (UIDSSMT) & Integrated Housing and slum development Programme (IHSDP)] and the allocation/ releases during the last three years and the current year are given in the annexed statement.
