(a) whether the Railways have received any request of
extending Visakhapatnam-Palasa EMU and DMU trains upto
Ichchapuram;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the reaction of
the Railways thereto; and
(c) the time by which both the trains are likely to be
extended up to Ichchapuram?

(a) to (c) Yes, Madam. Representations have been received for extending
Visakhapatnam-Palasa EMU and DMU trains upto Ichchapuram. Presently,
extension of Visakhapatnam-Palasa services upto Ichchapuram is not
feasible due to terminal constraints at Ichchapuram.
