Question : HPV Vaccine

Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:

(a) whether the Government proposes to introduce Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccine in the universal immunization programme;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether all necessary clinical testings have been done in this regard;

(d) if so, the details thereof; and

(e) the time by which it will be introduced in the immunization programme?

(a): No, the Government does not propose to introduce Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccine in the universal immunization programme

(b) to (e): In view of above, the questions do not arise.
