(a) the number of monuments or sites declared as monuments of national importance by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), State-wise including Jharkhand;

(b) the details of the funds spent on the said monuments or sites during the last five years;

(c) the revenue earned by the Government from these monuments during each of the last three years;

(d) whether the Government proposes to declare any other monument as monument of national importance; and

(e) if so, the details thereof, State-wise?

(a) There are 3,693 monuments and sites declared as of national importance throughout India. State-wise details are at Annexure-I

(b) The expenditure incurred on conservation and maintenance of these monuments during the last five years is at Annexure-II.

(c) The revenue earned from sale of entry tickets at centrally protected ticketed monuments during the last three years is as under:
