(a) whether the Government has given environmental clearance for
mining in coal mines around the protected area of Tadoba-Andhari Tiger
project of Maharashtra;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government proposes to reconsider the permission
given for said mining projects which would have an adverse affect on
their habitat; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b) As reported by the State, details of environmental
clearance for mining in coal mines around the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger
Reserve of Maharashtra are at Annexure-I.
(c) & (d) As reported by the State, the aforesaid mines are
located outside the buffer zone of the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve,
which has been considered while grant of environmental clearance.
