Question : SUBSIDY ON AGRICULTURE INPUTS

(a) whether the Government proposes to provide subsidy to the farmers on electric pump sets and various seeds used for farming due to hike in production cost of agricultural produce; and

(b) if so, the details thereof along with the other subsidies provided by the Government for agriculture?

(a) & (b): Yes, Madam. The details of subsidies provided to the farmers by the Government including on electric pump sets and for various seeds used for Agriculture are at Annexure-I.
