However, National Mission for Manuscripts has affiliated Sri Chandrashekharendra Saraswati University, Sri Kanchi Sankara Math as a Manuscript Resource Centre (MRC) in Tamil Nadu. The work of the MRCs is to survey, document and catalogue the manuscripts available in institutions and private collections.
