(a) to (c): The development and promotion of tourism is primarily the responsibility of the State Governments/UT Administrations. However, the Ministry of Tourism provides Central Financial Assistance (CFA) to State Governments/Union Territory Administrations for various tourism projects subject to availability of funds, liquidation of pending utilization certificates against the funds released earlier, receipt of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and adherence to the relevant scheme guidelines.
No project for Kandhamal and Boudh has been received from the Government of Odisha during the 12th Five Year Plan period.
