(a) to (d): Government of India is implementing Centrally Sponsored Scheme of National AYUSH Mission (NAM) for promotion and development of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) in the country. The details of funds allocated/released, spent and unutilized, year-wise and State/UT-wise including Kerala is furnished at Annexure. However, no system-wise funds are released by Central Government.
The funds allocated for promotion of AYUSH systems of medicine under the Central Sector Scheme for Promotion of Information Education and Communication (IEC) in AYUSH during the last three years and the current financial year is as follows:

Year Actual Expenditure/Allocation (Rs. in Crore)
2016-17 24.66

Under IEC Scheme, the funds are not allocated to States/UTs separately.
Further, request has been received from State/UT Governments time to time seeking more financial assistance through Supplementary State Annual Action Plans (SAAPs). As per the expenditure/utilization reported by State/UT Governments and as per the actual requirements posed by them, Central Government has sanctioned the available funds to State/UT Governments.
