(a) whether the Government has issued a directive that enforcement officers of the Employees` Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) cannot act against companies defaulting on workers` PF dues unless they can identify the workers whose savings are
at stake;
(b) if so, the details of this directive and the reasons therefor;
(c) whether after issuance of this directive many companies/firms against whom investigation was going
on have been dropped since enforcement officers have failed to identify the workers whose PF is at stake;
(d) if so, the reaction of the Government thereto;
(e) whether there is any proposal to reconsider this directive; and
(f) if not, the reasons therefor?
