(a) whether the Government provides direct assistance for self-employment to the unemployed persons belonging to minority communities;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the number of youths benefited under this scheme during each of the last three years?

(a) to (b):National Minorities Development and Finance Corpo- ration (NMDFC), a Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Minority Affairs, extends loans at concessional interest rates through State Channelizing Agencies (SCAs) nomi- nated by respective State Governments/UT Administrations,for self-employment and income generating venturesto eligible bene- ficiaries including unemployed persons belonging to notified minority communities.Minorities having annual family income upto Rs.6.00 lakh are eligible.
(c): The number of beneficiaries including youths covered under the lending schemes of NMDFC during last three financial years and current financial year are as under:
