Will the Minister of Communications & Information Technology be pleased to state: -
(a) whether many companies of information technology sector are working without registration and his Ministry do not have any control over it;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) the reasons behind non-registration of said companies;
(d) the action taken thereon; and
(e) the outcome thereof?

(a): As per the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), Government of India, information of companies not registered with Registrar of Companies is not maintained in MCA. Further, no instance of any unregistered entity with the word Private or Limited in the name, carrying on Information Technology (IT) activities has come to their notice.
(b) to (e): Do not arise.
