(a) whether BSNL has taken steps to address the Data network related issues in Kerala;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has fixed any time limit to fully implement 4G wireless services in Kerala; and
(d) if so, the details thereof including the delay, if any?

(a) & (b) Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has 4731 mobile sites with 3G data and 913 sites with 4G data in Kerala circle. In addition, BSNL augments its network based on techno-commercial considerations.
(c) to (d) Under Atma-nirbhar initiative of the Government, BSNL invited the Expression of Interest (EoI) on 01.01.2021 for Proof of Concept (PoC) for Indian Companies interested in participating in BSNL’s upcoming 4G tender. BSNL would rollout 4G services in Kerala circle based on techno-commercial considerations.
