(a) whether it is true that the Government has announced a number of new trains during the last three years;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether all the new trains have been introduced and started operations in the country; and
(d) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) & (b) Introduction of four new types of train services viz. Antyodaya Express, Humsafar Express, Tejas Express and UDAY Express was last made in the Railway Budget 2016-17.
(c) & (d) All the 4 types of services have been operationalized and presently, 11 pairs of Antyodaya Express, 29 pairs of Humsafar Express, 1 pair of Tejas Express and 1 pair of UDAY Express are plying over Indian Railways.
