Question : ANTI DUMPING DUTIES ON CHEMICALS

(a) the details of value and quantum of chemical fertilisers, insecticides and pesticides exported and imported during each of the last three years and the current year, country-wi se;

(b) whether the export of these items have affected their prices in the domestic markets;

(c) if so, the details thereof and the action taken by the Government to check the rise in price of such products; `

(d) whether the Government has recommended for imposition of antidumping duty on import of a chemical used in production of pesticides and dyes from China and if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor;

(e) whether there are reports of individuals and companies illegally importing a large quantity of such materials including the import of inferior insecticides from China; and

(f) if so, the reaction of the Government thereto along with the action taken in this regard?
