(a) whether the Government proposes to introduce any scheme to help the students appearing for various examinations to get any special quota for confirmation of their railway tickets;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) if not, the reasons thereof?

(a) to (c): Separate YUVA quota has been earmarked in four trains i.e. 12247/48 Bandra Terminus-Nizamuddin and 12249/50 Howrah-Anand Vihar Terminal for unemployed youths aged 15-45 years who fulfil the stipulated criteria. For emergent requirements, passengers can book their tickets under Tatkal Quota which is available for booking at 1000/1100 hours on the previous day of journey excluding the date of journey from the train originating station for AC(Air-conditioned)/non-AC classes respectively.
