(a) whether the Government have any data on the growing and production of trees especially teak, rosewood, bamboo and other wood providing trees for both industrial and domestic purposes in Orissa;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government have any proposal to promote the growth and production of teak and bamboo in the State; and
(d) if so, the details of the schemes and the amount allocated for the purpose?

(c) An amount of Rs.4830.87 lakhs have been allocated during Ninth Five Year Plan under various Centrally Sponsored Schemes of the Ministry for afforestation.
