Question : Extension of PMGKAY

(a) whether the Government has any plans to extend PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) till March 2024;

(b) if not, the reasons for the same; and

(c) the details of quantity of monthly grains being allotted to States under PMGKAY, State-wise?

(a) & (b): The Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) has been extended for a further period of six months from April, 2022 to September, 2022 by the Government.

(c): State-wise details of quantity of monthly foodgrains being allotted to States/UTs under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) is at Annexure. Monthly quantity keeps on increasing/decreasing as per addition/deletion of Ration Cards due to various reasons
