(a) whether Pakistan is giving training to the terrorists;
(b) if so, the details in this regard;
(c) whether Pak youths are also being trained to work as Sikh terrorists;
(d) if so, the details thereof; and
(e) the steps taken /proposed to be taken by the Government in this matter?

(a)&(b): As per available reports, Pakistan is imparting training to militants for indulging in terrorist/violent activities in various parts of the country. Several training camps are reported to have been established in Pak/POK where training in arms & explosive handling is imparted to terrorists.
(c) & (d): There are no confirmed reports in this regard.
(e): With a view to tackling the problem of terrorism, the Government has adopted a multi-pronged approach which includes, inter-alia, strengthening the border management, neutralising plans of the militants by pro-active action, gearing up intelligence machinery, and providing improved weapons and equipments for Security Forces.
