(a) whether there is any proposal to built Bye-pass on the National Highway No.- 6 ;
(b) if so, whether these are being built under the Built Operate and Transport system;
(c) whether the Bye-pass for city Akola in Maharashtra is being built this year;
(d) if so, under which scheme it is being built; and
(e) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (e): Yes, Sir. The construction of by-passes at Amravati and Paldhi on National Highway No.6 in Maharashtra State have been taken up from Government funding. However, the construction of Akola bypass on this highway is proposed to be taken up on BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) basis but not in the current financial year.
