Training Programme on Bioresources for School Childrenâ at various
locations in the country over the last 5 years.

(c) During the last 3 years, the department has supported 33 such
programmes benefiting around 1000 Class X school children.
(d) The Department has launched five Rural Bioresource Complexes.
(e) to (g) As of now, there is no proposal to set up Rural Bioresouce
Complexes in everystate. The need to set up such centers would be
evaluated critically and on a case-to-case basis keeping in mind the
capacity of the host institute, the ability for value addition of
bioresources, location-specific needs etc.
