Question : INTEREST RELIEF TO FOOD PROCESSING INDUSTRIES IN KARNATAKA

(a) whether the Government of Karnataka has sought Rs. 5 crores for providing interest relief to Food Processing Industries;

(b) if so, the date on which the proposal was sent;

(c) the number of Food Processing Industries proposed to be provided with interest relief in Karnataka; and

(d) the action taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) to (d): Ministry of Food Processing Industry does not have any scheme for providing interest relief to food processing industries and no such proposal has been received from Government of Karnataka in this Ministry.
