(a) the mechanism in place to ensure compliance of cabinet decisions by various Ministries/Departments of Government of India;
(b) whether various Ministries and Departments have failed to implement the decisions of the cabinet;
(c) if so, the details thereof; and
(d) the corrective action taken by the Government in this regard?

(a): The responsibility of ensuring compliance with the decisions of the Cabinet rests with the concerned
Ministry/Department. Any variation or modification in these decisions has necessarily to be placed for
approval of the Cabinet.
(b): No, Sir. The Ministries/Departments take action for implementing the decisions of the Cabinet as per the
approved schedule and implementation of these decisions continues to be monitored. In cases where any difficulty
is encountered in implementing the decision(s), the Ministries/Departments can bring the matter before the Cabinet.
(c): Does not arise.
