(a)&(b) Development of National Highways is a continuous process. Works on National Highways are taken in Annual Plan based on the inter-se priority subject to overall availability of funds. State-wise plan provision for the sanction of new works for development of National Highways for the year 2001-2002 is annexed.
(c) The entire expenditure for the development of National Highways is borne by the Central Government.
