(a) whether the country has been facing acute shortage of Di-ammonium phosphate;
(b) if so, the details thereof during the last three years State/UT-wise;
(c) the steps taken/proposed to be taken to ensure adequate availability of the same;
(d) whether the ongoing crisis in Russia has affected the supply of the same; and
(e) if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b): No Sir. The availability of Di-ammonium phosphate during the ongoing Kharif-2022 season has remained comfortable.
(c) : Govt. Of India had taken following steps/initiative for adequate ensuring availability of DAP in the Country:
1. DoF had instructed fertilizer companies to manufacture additional DAP for a period of 25.10.2021 to 31.03.2022 by converting the NPK stream to DAP stream so that the demand of the farming community can be adequately met.
2. DoF granted permission to Madhya Bharat Agro Product Limited Unit-II, Banda Sagar, MP for production of DAP/NPK with the installed capacity limit of 1,20,000 MT per annum.
3. Paradeep Phosphates Ltd was allowed to manufacture additional DAP/NPK complex to the tune of 8 LMT per annum.
(d) & (e): No sir. The availability of Di-ammonium phosphate during the ongoing Kharif-2022 season has remained comfortable as per the following:
