(a) whether the Coal India Limited (CIL) and its subsidiaries
have discontinued some of their coal producing projects during
the last three years and the current year;
(b) if so, the details thereof alongwith the reasons
therefor, project-wise;
(c) whether several coal workers have been rendered jobless
as a result thereof; and
(d) if so, the steps taken/proposed to be taken to re-start
the operation in these projects?
