MINISTER, MINISTRY OF DEVELOPMENT OF NORTH EASTERN REGION
(a) to (c) As per information received from Ministry of Urban Development, urban infrastructure
development, including in Dibrugarh, has been undertaken in the North East under the `Provision
for the Projects/Schemes for the benefit of the North Eastern Region and Sikkim` and under an
Asian Development Bank Project. This includes following components: -
# Improvement of existing/construction of new roads, pavement.
# Improvement of existing drains/construction of new drains.
# Water supply scheme
# Sewerage scheme
# Construction of retaining wall
# Solid Waste Management Scheme
# Construction of Bridges/Flyovers
# Construction of market complex/parking complexes/truck terminus
# Civic amenities like playground/community halls, nigh shelters, old age
and destitute children home.
