(a) whether the Government have studied the report made by the European Vegetarian Union on the Medical costs attributable to meat consumption;
(b) if so, the outcome thereof; and
(c) the steps taken by tehe Government to educate the masses in this regard?

(c) Balanced Diet is emphasised in Nutrition and health Education activities. Food Based Dietary Guidelines have been formulated to create awareness among the masses.
