the delay, if any, in such appointments; and

(a) In ONGC, Board level posts of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) fell
vacant with effect from 01.04.2021and Director (offshore) with effect from
01.05.2021. 289 executive level posts and 329 non executive level posts are
vacant at present. Details are given at annexure 1 & 2.
(b) to (d) Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) conducted selection
meeting for the post of CMD, ONGC on 04.06.2021 and did not
recommended any candidate keeping in view strategic importance and vision
for the company and its future. For the post of Director (offshore), the
incumbent has been recommended by PESB and appointment will be made
after approval of Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
