(a) whether the obscene pictures are being shown at several
places as a result of availability of internet facility on
computers;
(b): if so, the facts thereof;
(c) whether small clubs have been set up at some places
which show obscene films on internet and encourage others to
view them, thereby affecting the Indian culture adversely;
(d) if so, the details thereof; and
(e) the strategy proposed to be adopted to check this trend?

(a),(b),(c),(d) and (e): Government have no information in
this regard There are specific software available which can
be used to block objectionable websites. However, it may not
be technically feasible to completely block such sitesbecause
of their large proliferation internationally.
As per internet Service Provider (ISP) License Agreement,
the licensee shall ensure that obscene contents are not
carried in his/her Network. Cyber Laws when enforced will
enable to deal with this matter more effectively.
