Question : INTEGRATED INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT SCHEME



(a) whether the Government of Madhya Pradesh had sent three Integrated Infrastructural Development Schemes in respect of SSI for Sagar, Vidisha and Mandsaur districts for the approval of the Union Government;

(b) if so, the details thereof; and

(c) the action taken by the Union Government in this regard?

(a) to (c): Under the Integrated Infrastructural Development (IID) Scheme, State Government/Union Territory is required to formulate proposals for setting up IID Centres and get these appraised by Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI). The IID Centres are sanctioned on the basis of the techno-economic viability report of SIDBI. So far, the Government have sanctioned five Centres in the State of Madhya Pradesh viz. Nadantola Distt. Satna, Jaggakhedi Distt. Mandsaur, Nimrani Distt. Khargone, Lamtara Distt. Katni and Village Naogawn in Distt. Sagar. All these projects are at various stages of implementation. No further proposal is pending with the Government for consideration at present.
