MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS(SHRI MANOJ SINHA)
(a) to (c): Padrauna station, situated on the Kaptanganj-Thawe section, is presently being served by 04 pairs of passenger trains. However, the station, being a road side station, lacks necessary infrastructural facilities for originating/terminating train services.
Aurangabad-Mumbai sector is presently being served by 06 pairs of Mail/Express trains including 02 pairs of daily service viz. 17058 Secunderabad-Mumbai CST Devgiri Express and 11402 Nagpur-Mumbai CST Nandigram Express departing for Mumbai from Aurangabad at night. Further, 11083/11084 Lokmanya Tilak (T)-Kazipet Express (weekly) via Aurangabad has also been announced in Railway Budget 2014-15.
Introduction of train between Padrauna and New Delhi and additional night train service between Aurangabad and Mumbai is not feasible, at present, due to operational and resource constraints including lack of terminal maintenance facilities at Padrauna and Aurangabad. However, introduction of train is an ongoing process on Indian Railways subject to operational feasibility, traffic demand, resource availability etc.
