given at Annexure.
(b): The import of Edible Oils into the country during the last three years is given below:

(c) to (e): The Annual Average of month end wholesale prices of oilseeds show an upward
trend during the period under consideration. The trends in prices of individual oilseeds are given
in the Annexure. As will be seen from the Annexure there has been a steady increase in prices of
oilseeds during the last three years.
(f): The import of Oilseeds is not taking place mainly on account of phyto sanitary conditions.
