(a) & (b) : The National Reconstruction Corps Scheme
provides for constitution of a National Steering Committee
(NSC). A copy of the constitution as provided under the
scheme is at Annexure. The composition of the committee is
under active consideration of the Government.
(c) The primary objective of National Reconstruction Corps
Scheme, inter-alia, is to provide an opportunity to youth to
participate in the process of nation building, to work for
and with the community, to understand the problems of real
life, and utilize their skills and knowledge to bring about
a socio-economic transformation of our society and nation.
