(a) the total quantum of gas produced from Panna, Mukta and Tapti Oil fields daily / annually;
(b) whether the Government allow direct marketing of gas from Panna-Mukta-Tapti fields;
(c) if so, the details in this regard;
(d) whether the current arrangements for supply of PMT gas through GAIL’s network would continue; and
(e) if not, the reasons therefor and the other alternatives arrangements made for supply of PMT gas?

(a) The quantity of gas produced daily and annually from the Panna-Mukta and Mid-South Tapti fields are as under:
(b) to (e) With effect from the 1st April 2005, Government have permitted the Panna-Mukta-Tapti joint venture to make arrangements to market their own gas except for 6 Million Standard Cubic Metres per day, which is to be sold to GAIL for meeting the requirements of the fertiliser and power sectors.
