(a) whether the Government has constituted the National Steering Committee of the Mission Swadesh Darshan and Prasad Scheme;
(b) if so, the details thereof along with the terms and reference of the said Committee;
(c) the details of the works so far undertaken by the said Committee along with the status thereof; and
(d) the time by which the said committee will complete its assignment and submit its report?

(a) to (c): Yes, Madam.
A National Steering Committee (NSC) was constituted under the Chairmanship of Minister in charge, Ministry of Tourism to steer the mission objectives and vision.
The composition and key responsibilities of NSC is given at the Annexure.
So far two meetings of National Steering Committee (NSC) has been held on 14th January, 2015 and 24th September, 2015.
(d): The Committee is to oversee all aspects, steer, review and monitor overall performance of the scheme and provide guidance on specific issues relating to the scheme.
