(a) whether the Union Government has received any proposal from the State Government of Madhya Pradesh
for approval regarding revalidation of Rs.63.07 lakh and Rs. 11.77 lakh in the current financial year
for the implementation of Saving-cum-Relief Scheme for fishermen;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the time by which the funds are likely to be sanctioned and released?

(a) to (c) A proposal was received from the State Government of Madhya Pradesh during the current financial
year for revalidation of unspent balance of ? 11.77 lakh and release of T63.07 lakh under the Saving-cum-
Relief component of Centrally Sponsored `National Scheme of Welfare of Fishermen. The unspent amount had
been revalidateci in May, 2011 and grants-in-aid of T63.07 lakh has also been released to the State
Government in July, 2011.
