(a) : Yes, Sir.
(b) & (c) : Polavaram being a multi-purpose project needs clearance by the Advisory Committee
of the Ministry of Water Resources. The appraisal of the project is being Co-ordinated by the
Central Water Commission (CWC). The CWC have informed that the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of
the Polavaram multi-purpose Project has received by them in the last quarter of 2005 and that the
appraisal of the same has been completed by CWC. The DPR of Polavaram Project is now required to
be submitted to the Advisory Committee of Ministry of Water Resources after the grant of the
necessary Forest and Wild Life clearances by the Ministry of Environment and Forests.
