(a) whether the Central Government has announced and implemented the special relief package for Bihar during 2015;
(b) if so, the head-wise amount allocated thereto;
(c) whether the remaining amount is yet to be allocated; and
(d) if so, the time by which the entire amount is likely to be released to Bihar?

(a) & (b): Yes, the Central Government had announced a Prime Minister’s Bihar Package 2015 of Rs. 1,25,003 crore and other investments of Rs. 40,657 crore for all around development of the State of Bihar on 18th August, 2015 which is being implemented by the concerned Ministries/Departments. The Sector-wise allocation of funds in the package are enclosed at Annexure-I.
(c) & (d): Prime Minister’s Bihar Package 2015 is being implemented by the concerned Ministries/Departments with their budgetary allocation. Releases are made by the concerned Ministries/Departments in a phased manner subject to submission of Utilisation Certificates etc. by the implementing authorities and the State Government of Bihar.
