(a) whether the Government has formulated any action plan to ensure availability of solar system to the poor people, small and medium farmers at affordable prices;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) if not, the reasons therefor; and
(d) the number of the solar systems distributed so far, State/UT-wise?

(a) to (c) The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy is implementing different schemes providing central financial assistance for installation and use of solar systems including by the poor people, small and medium farmers. The details of these schemes are given at Annexure-I.
(d) The State/ UT-wise details of off-grid solar systems provided till 31.10.2019 are placed at Annexure-II.
