Question : Source of Income

(a) whether the Government has taken note that 35 lakhs households in urban areas have no source of income as per raw data available from Socio- Economic and Caste Census(SECC) in urban areas;
(b) if so, the reaction of the Government thereto; and
(c) the corrective measures taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) to (c): The Socio- Economic and Caste Census (SECC) (Urban) in urban areas has been carried out but is yet to be completed. The results have not been finalized.
