be pleased to state:
(a) whether it is a fact that the cooperative milk federations of various States in the country are in a very deteriorating condition;
(b) if so, the details thereof, State-wise; and
(c) the schemes being chalked out by the Government for improvement of condition of the co-operative milk federations in various States of the country?

(a) and (b) National Dairy Development Board has informed that as per annual accounts/ financial information received from 210 Cooperative Milk Unions for the year 2014-15, 104 had accumulated net profits and 106 incurred accumulated net losses as on 31.03.2015 State wise detail is annexed.
(c) The Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries is implementing following schemes for improvement of the condition of the cooperative milk federations in various States of the country:-
i. National Dairy Plan (Phase I)
ii. National Programme for Bovine Breeding and Dairy Development
iii. Dairy Entrepreneurship Development Scheme
