(a) & (b): No, Madam. Vedanta Foundation changed its name to “Anil Agarwal Foundationâ€
after obtaining approval from the Central Government u/s 25/21 read with Sec. 23 of the
Companies Act, 1956. Regional Director (Western Region), Ministry of Corporate Affairs,
approved the same on 1st September, 2006 and Registrar of Companies (ROC) issued certificate
to that effect on 6th September, 2006.
