(a) & (b): Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS), being the regulatory authority for civil aviation security in the country has issued instructions to install CCTV in the identified locations at airports.;
(c): Airports Authority of India (AAI) has reported that it has placed work order for up-gradation / augmentation of existing CCTV system at 30 Airports with value of Rs.17.25 Crore on 08.08.2016.

(d): AAI has further reported that the following firms meet the pre-qualification criteria for CCTV tender for works at Hubli, Belgaum, Kishangarh and Pakyong (Gangtok) airports:-

(i) M/s. Score Information Technologies ;
(ii) M/s. Online Micro Services Pvt. Ltd. ;
(iii) M/s. Honeywell Automation India Ltd. ;;
(iv) M/s. Broadcast Engineering Consultant ;
(v) M/s. Polixel Security Systems ;
(vi) M/s. Nidhi Industries ;
(vii) M/s. nCode Solutiions GNFC;
(viii) M/s Technosys Security Systems ;

(e): According to AAI, the total fund allocated in BE 2016-17 is Rs.13.10 Crore, and the the details of amount released/spent, airport-wise, are as under:-;

(i) Safdarjung airport - Rs.0.50 Cr.;
(ii) Hubli airport - Rs.0.59 Cr.
(iii) Vijayawada airport - Rs.0.66 Cr.
(iv) Kadapa airport - Rs.0.77 Cr.
(v) Coimbatore airport - Rs.0.08 Cr.
(vi) Pune airport - Rs.0.14 Cr.
(v) Jaipur airport - Rs.0.11 Cr.
(vi) Combined expenditure at airports at Ranchi, Jammu, Calicut & Udaipur - Rs.0.20 Cr.;
(vii) Combined expenditure at airports at Agartala, Bagdora, Dibrugarh, Guwahati and Imphal - Rs.0.18 Cr.
