(a) the details of conservation works and repair works to be undertaken by the Government under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY) in rural areas of Chhattisgarh;
(b) whether any proposal has been received by the Government from the State Governments in this regard;
(c) if so, the details thereof; and
(d) the time by which such proposals and schemes are likely to be completed in the various States of the country including Chhattisgarh?

(a): Soil and Water Conservation works like ridge area treatment, drainage line treatment, soil and moisture conservation, rain water harvesting including repair and renovation of existing structures etc. are taken up on watershed approach under Integrated Watershed Management Programme (IWMP), which has been subsumed under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY) as Watershed Development Component since 1st July, 2015. Scheme is being implemented in all the states including Chhattisgarh.
(b) &(c): As per available information, a total of 8214 watershed projects have been sanctioned covering an area of 39.07 million ha with an estimated cost of Rs. 50739.58 crores based on the proposals received from the State Governments. For Chhattisgarh state, 263 projects have been sanctioned covering an area of 1.195 million ha with a total cost of Rs. 1517.87 crores.
(d): As per the Common Guidelines for Watershed Development Projects-2008 (Revised Edition-2011), the period for completion of watershed projects is between 4-7 years. These projects are in different stages of implementation.
