(a): Appropriate measures are taken for imposing anti- dumping duty, counter–vailing duty and safeguard duty, as deemed necessary from time to time on any article imported into India in such increased quantities and under such conditions so as to cause or threaten to cause serious injury to the Indian domestic industry.
(b): As per the preliminary assessment report on the impact of demonetization brought out by the RBI, the adverse impact had been transient.
(c)&(d): The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises has not conducted any specific study on the measures taken by other Asian countries to protect MSME Sector in their respective areas.
(e): The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises implements various schemes and programmes to boost the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Sector throughout the country. These include the schemes/programmes such as Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries (SFURTI), A Scheme for Promoting Innovation, Rural Industry and Entrepreneurship (ASPIRE), Credit Guarantee Scheme (CGTMSE), Credit linked Capital Subsidy-Technology Upgradation Scheme (CLCS-TUS), National Manufacturing Competitiveness Programme (NMCP), Micro & Small Enterprises- Cluster Development Programme (MSE-CDP), National Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Hub (NSSH), Procurement and Marketing Schemes (PMS) etc. National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) under the Ministry of MSME also boost and supports Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Sector by providing integrated support services encompassing marketing, finance, technology and other services.
