Question : CONSTRUCTION OF NATIONAL HIGHWAY BRANCH

(a) whether the Union Government have received any proposal from the Orissa Government and the Members of Parliament to construct a National Highway branch from Kuakhia to Bhadrak; and

(b) if so, the steps taken by the Union Government in this regard?

(a) No, Sir. This section of road from Kuakhia to Bhadrak is already a part of National Highway No. 5.
