d) AARDO is a forum with which India is closely associated so as to further
cooperation in the field of rural development in the member countries. Our contributions
have helped the Organisation to sustain its main activities such as human resource
development and development of pilot projects through partnership with the rural
beneficiaries, addressing the basic physical and social infrastructure, transfer of
technology and poverty alleviation programmes through income and employment
generating activities.
