Question : FUNDS FOR COMPUTERISATION



(a) whether the Government has received any proposal from various States for computerization of State Assemblies in their States;

(b) if so, the details thereof, State-wise including Telangana; and.

(c) the total funds allocated / likely to be allocated in this regard?

(a): Yes, Sir.

(b) and (c): Department of Electronics & Information Technology (Deity) has received three proposals from states of Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab for computerisation of State Assemblies in their states. Details of proposals and funds allocated are as follows:

Since the projects of Andhra Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh have been conceptualized as productized initiatives, the state of Punjab has been advised to customize and implement the modules being developed by the above two projects.
